Caring for your plant-dyed clothing
We go to great lengths to ensure our garments don't run, but on occasion some colours continue to leak. We suggest testing first with a hand wash and line drying in the sun. If you see no colour in the water, you can proceed with a machine wash on low heat with similar colours.
You do not need to wash before wear. In fact, the longer you can leave it, the more your skin will benefit from the herbs. Over time, the colours will fade, adding to their natural charm.
When you are completely done with your Monsoon Blooms garments, they should break down safely in a compost.
Caring for your organic cotton Yoga mat
Our Yoga mats have proven time and time again that they can withstand a standard washing machine cycle with a bit of warmth. Having said that, the back of your Yoga mat is coated in pure sap from rubber trees, hevea brasiliensis, which can run when washed. This means it's imperative to wash your Yoga mat by itself, and you may also wish to do an empty cycle following washing. Alternatively, the best washing can be done by hand, or simply leave it in the sun for some solar powered cleaning!
